Write the net-profit formula
Profit = sale price − selling fee − shipping − other costs − buy price. Omitting costs makes the opportunity look better than it is.
Guide
Resale profit starts with the sale price, then subtracts the buy cost, selling fee, shipping, and other costs.
Sale price minus buy price is only a gross spread; it is not net profit.
Profit = sale price − selling fee − shipping − other costs − buy price. Omitting costs makes the opportunity look better than it is.
Set the profit you need, then calculate the maximum buy price from your sale-price and fee assumptions. Sell-through and returns remain separate risks.
Do not mix yen and dollars. Enter the tax, FX, shipping region, and platform fee assumptions that apply to your case.
A different model, condition, or accessory set is not a clean comparable. When evidence is weak, investigate before calculating profit.
The calculator below only computes the assumptions you enter. It does not fetch live prices, fees, or exchange rates.
